- Powerful new 999 cc parallel twin engine: the astonishing power of the new 999 cc, DOHC, 8-valve, parallel twin engine delivers ultra-smooth, class-leading performance across the powerband, with the redline at 8,500 rpm. Everything this machine provides allows for aggressive and energetic driving. For total peace of mind, our legendary durability and reliability is the hallmark of all Yamaha engines.
- Imposing and aggressive styling: The Wolverine® RMAX™2 1000 combines top-level capability with a stunning appearance, thanks to its bold colours, aggressive front-end design and rugged Dirt Commander wheels. New, discreet LED headlights and 'devil's eye' position lights add to its distinctive look. In addition, the LED tail light, brake light and reversing light provide increased visibility.
- Advanced suspension with a focus on comfort: the new, heavy-duty suspension has been designed to ensure excellent handling. Provides maximum articulation in low speed situations (a balanced feel in track riding) and maximum resistance when bottoming out. As a result, it offers an enhanced damping response at higher speeds when manoeuvring aggressively. Wide-arch wishbones combined with easily adjustable front and rear FOX shocks help create this ideal setup.
- Versatile cargo support: The Wolverine® RMAX™2 1000 features a tilting loading platform to simplify transport tasks. The cargo bed, constructed using hydraulic assistance and a robust locking system, can carry up to 272 kg. It also features multiple steel tie-down points to secure the load or attach accessories. It provides a total towing capacity of 907 kg through a standard 2-inch receiver.
- Tyres designed for the toughest terrain: the chunky 14" aluminium wheels are equipped with 30" GBC Dirt Commandar 2 tyres, arranged in a "square" configuration, meaning you only need to carry one spare. These special radial tyres have been developed specifically for the Wolverine®RMAX™ 1000 to provide precise steering character and a comfortable yet durable sidewall feel. The tread pattern design provides great traction, whatever the terrain.
- Wider door opening and more comfort: To make it easier to get in and out of the Wolverine®RMAX™1000, the front doors have an extended opening. For added comfort, the front shoulder pads have been redesigned to expand the space available for the upper body. Thanks to this, both large and small drivers can enjoy a more comfortable and safer feeling on the track.
