- 686 cc SOHC MK II engine: the indefatigable Kodiak 700 EPS is powered by a large displacement engine that produces class-leading power and torque. Equipped with an MK II 686 SOHC engine with second-generation 4-valve cylinder head, EFI throttle body, fine-tuned ECU mapping, refined tolerances and other improvements, it offers lower fuel consumption, higher torque and more consistent performance.
- Ultramatic® transmission: with high, low, reverse, neutral and park, Yamaha's industry-leading Ultramatic® automatic transmission system is one of the toughest and most efficient CVT systems in the ATV world. The utility-oriented gears produce excellent tractive power at low speeds and a natural engine braking feel, facilitating confidence and control when descending gradients.
- On-Command®2WD/4WD/Differential Lock Selector: Kodiak 700 EPS models are equipped with an easy-to-operate On-Command® system with 2WD/4WD and 4WD with differential lock for full control of fast and effective switching between 2WD and 4WD. The differential lock also allows you to choose the right option to suit the terrain and surface conditions.
- Independent suspension and front disc brake: The Kodiak 700 EPS's compact independent double wishbone suspension design and KYB long-travel shock absorbers provide a high level of comfort along with excellent manoeuvrability, perfect for tackling the toughest terrain. For tough, reliable braking, the Kodiak 700 is equipped with front disc brakes and a sealed rear brake design.
- Electronic Power Steering (EPS): To improve comfort and minimise effort, the Kodiak 700 EPS features Electronic Power Steering (EPS), specifically designed to provide the optimum balance of driver assistance and precision in response. Thanks to the lightness and precision of the steering, the system enhances driver comfort, confidence and control.
