Central Europe Tour

On this magical journey, you will visit major European cities boasting impressive historical centres, discovering the most emblematic highlights of Prague, Budapest and Vienna.

8 days/7 nights trip for 2 adults which includes: flights, airfares, 3 and 4* hotels on Bed & Breakfast basis, transfers, visits and Inclusive Insurance.

Itinerary:

  • Day 1: MADRID - PRAGUE
Check-in at the airport two hours before departure for your flight to Prague. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.
  • Day 2: PRAGUE
Breakfast. Departure for a panoramic visit of the city. We will start in Mala Strana, home to Malé náměstí with its famous baroque church of St. Nicholas, the Church of Our Lady of Victory with "The Infant Jesus of Prague" and Kampa Island, before we head to the famous Charles Bridge for a picture-perfect view. Afterwards, we will walk through the narrow streets of the Old Town (Stare Mesto), its main square with the famous astronomical clock, Wenceslas Square, etc. Free afternoon. In the afternoon we recommend an optional visit to Prague Castle. We will start our visit at the Gothic St. Vitus Cathedral, home to the crown jewels before heading on to visit to Old Royal Palace and the Golden Lane, one of the most charming places in the city. Transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.
  • Day 3: PRAGUE
Breakfast. Free day. We recommend an optional full-day excursion with a local guide to the world-famous spa town of Karlovy Vary. Located in a valley between high mountains and lush forests, allow yourself to be captivated by its Victorian gardens, the wealth and beauty of its buildings and its cobbled streets, where figures like Beethoven, Bach, Goethe, etc. used to walk. During the visit you will see, among others, the Geyser, a thermal water jet that reaches a height of 12 metres at 72º C, the Grand Hotel Pupp, the Theatre, etc. You will also have some free time to stroll around the city or shop for typical products such as the magnificent Bohemian crystal. Return to Prague. Accommodation.
  • Day 4: PRAGUE - BRATISLAVA - BUDAPEST
Breakfast. Our route will take us to Slovakia and we will stop in Bratislava, the capital of the country. Free time for a short tour of the historic medieval centre with cobbled streets and historic buildings contrasting with the communist and modern architecture. Continuation to Hungary and arrival in Budapest. We recommend the optional excursion "Budapest Illuminations". Accommodation.
  • Day 5: BUDAPEST
Breakfast. Departure for a panoramic visit of this city, the capital of Hungary, considered one of the most beautiful in Europe. This city is crossed by the Danube River, which separates Buda and Pest, connected by marvellous bridges such as the Chain Bridge and the Elisabeth Bridge. In the oldest part of Buda, we will visit the castle quarter. Afterwards we will drive to Pest and see, among others, Heroes' Square, Andrássy Avenue, Octagonal Square, etc. Free afternoon to continue exploring the city. We recommend an optional boat trip on the majestic Danube River, which will give you a magical perspective of the city, sailing under the bridges connecting Buda and Pest and with monuments such as the Parliament as a backdrop. We also recommend the optional "Treasures of Budapest" and the "Gypsy Dinner". Accommodation.
  • Day 6: BUDAPEST - VIENNA
Breakfast. Our route will take us into Austria until we reach Vienna, the country's capital, with its imperial elegance, baroque architecture and classical music intertwined in this cultural gem. A sightseeing tour will guide you through its highlights such as the monumental Ringstrasse, an avenue measuring more than 5 kilometres in length where some of Vienna's most significant buildings are located and which represents the finest example of the historicist style: Parliament, the Opera House, the Votive Church, the Museums of Art History and Natural History, the Town Hall, the Stock Exchange. We will also stroll through the pedestrian heart of the city, centred around St. Stephen's Cathedral, where we will stop for some free time. You will also take in the courtyards of the Hofburg Imperial Palace, the Kartner Strasse and the Graben, home to the Plague Column. Entrance fees not included. Accommodation.
  • Day 7: VIENNA
Breakfast. Free day at your leisure. We recommend an optional excursion to Schönbrunn Palace, a baroque treasure where you can immerse yourself in Austria's imperial history. During the reign of Maria Theresa in the middle of the 18th century, this imperial summer residence became the sumptuous setting for the court. Its ostentatious rooms and gardens will take you back to the Habsburg era. Free afternoon to continue exploring the city, savour the charm of Vienna in a traditional café or sample the exquisite Sacher cake. If you wish, you can take an optional excursion such as the "Unknown Vienna" tour, as well as attend one of the concerts that take place in the city. Accommodation.
  • Day 8: VIENNA - MADRID
Breakfast. Free time until your transfer to the airport for your flight back to your original city. Arrival and end of our services.
