Thanks to its personalised spatial audio with dynamic head tracking, watching TV shows, films and gaming is like being in the cinema, because sound comes from all directions. With a built-in gyroscope and accelerometer, AirPods Max follow the movements of your head and make you feel like the sound is coming from your iPhone, iPad, Mac or Apple TV.

The adaptive equalisation adjusts sound to suit your hearing, based on the sound insulation of the ear cushions and the pressure of the headphones. The inward-facing microphones analyse what you hear and adjust the music frequencies to deliver a consistent sound and make every note sound as it was played.

Pro-level active noise cancellation, which removes up to twice as much external noise and neutralises annoying sounds so you can focus on what you want to listen to. When you control what you hear and what you don't, you can really get into your favourite podcast or simply enjoy the silence.
