Egypt's cuisine is a reflection of its rich history and cultural diversity. Typical dishes, such as Ful Medames and Koshari, are emblematic and reflect the influence of Mediterranean, African and Arab civilisations. Egyptian cuisine is characterised by its use of fresh, wholesome ingredients such as pulses, vegetables, pita bread and rice, with spices such as cumin, coriander and cinnamon central to many recipes.

Travel itinerary:
- DAY 1. SPAIN - LUXOR
Arrival at the airport 3 hours before departure. Board flight (charter or scheduled) to Luxor. Arrival, visa formalities and transfer to the ship. (In case of boarding later than 9:00 p.m., a cold dinner will be served in the cabin). Overnight on board.
- DAY 2. LUXOR - ESNA - EDFU
Full board. At the indicated time, visit the Temples of Karnak and Luxor, the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. Return to the ship. Lunch. Sail to Esna (lock crossing) and onwards to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
- DAY 3. EDFU - KOM OMBO - ASWAN
Full board. In the morning, visit by horse-drawn carriage to the Temple of Horus at Edfu. Return to the boat and sail to Kom Ombo. Lunch, arrival at and visit to the Temple dedicated to the Gods Haroeris and Sobek. Sailing to Aswan. Dinner and overnight on board.
- DAY 4. ASWAN - ABU SIMBEL - ASWAN
Full board. Departure around 2:30 a.m. in a convoy to arrive at sunrise (approximately 3 hours by road). The visit will last approximately 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours, then return to Aswan. We will continue with a visit to the Temple of Philae. Lunch. In the afternoon, a trip on the Nile in “feluccas,” traditional fishing boats. Overnight on board.
- DAY 5. ASWAN - CAIRO
Breakfast. Free time for optional excursions. At the appointed time, transfer to the airport for your flight to Cairo. Transfer to the hotel.
- DAY 6. CAIRO
Breakfast. Departure to Giza to visit the Great Sphinx and the pyramids (includes entrance to the second or third pyramid). Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit Saqqara and Memphis. Return to Cairo to explore the Islamic city and enjoy the night with a traditional Cairo dinner.
- DAY 7. CAIRO
Full board. Departure to the new Grand Egyptian Museum, then tour of the Citadel and other historical sites.
- DAY 8. CAIRO - SPAIN
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport and flight back to Spain.

- Cruise: MS Concerto, Alexander The Great or MS Royal Viking.
- Cairo: Hyatt Regency Cairo West *****, Dusit Thani LakeView Cairo ***** or Sheraton Cairo Hotel & Casino *****.
