Japan Tour

On this trip, you will discover the most modern aspects of Japan in the cities of Tokyo and Osaka, in contrast to the feudal areas of Takayama and the villages of Tsumago and Magome. You will also visit the unique farmhouses of Shirakawago.

11-day / 10-night trip including: flights, taxes, 3 and 4-star hotels (half board), transfers, visits, entrance fees and All-inclusive Insurance.

Travel itinerary:

• Day 1: SPAIN – OSAKA
  Departure by flight to Osaka. Overnight on board.
• Day 2: OSAKA
  Arrival in Osaka and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Accommodation.
• Day 3: OSAKA – NARA – KYOTO
  Half board. We will visit Osaka Castle. Departure to Nara to visit Todaiji Temple with its large Buddha statue and the Deer Park. Lunch. Next is Kyoto and a visit to Fushimi Inari shrine, with its thousands of red torii, considered one of the most beautiful shrines in Japan.
• Day 4: KIOTO
  Half board. Morning city tour: Nijo Castle, Kinkakuji Temple, also called the Golden Pavilion because of the gold leaf covering it, a World Heritage Site, and Heian Shrine with its beautiful gardens. Lunch. Return to the hotel at the client's expense. You can also visit and experience the iconic "tea ceremony" in Kyoto (please contact us for more information).
• Day 5: KIOTO
  Breakfast. Free day. An optional excursion to Hiroshima is available (please contact us for more information).
• Day 6: KYOTO – NAGOYA – MAGOME – TSUMAGO – TAKAYAMA
  Half board. Departure by train to Nagoya. Arrival and continuation on the old Nakasendo road to the beautiful feudal villages of Magome and Tsumago. Stroll around Magome and Tsumago, and visit the old samurai inn of Waki Honjin. The trip continues to Takayama, where you will walk along Kamisannomachi high street. Dinner at the hotel.
• Day 7: TAKAYAMA – SHIRAKAWAGO – NAGOYA – HAKONE
  Full board. Departure to Shirakawago to visit the unique "Gassho-Zukuri" farmhouses, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Lunch. Next is Nagoya, departing on the bullet train to Odawara. Arrival and transfer by road to Hakone. Dinner at the hotel.
• Day 8: HAKONE – TOKYO
  Half board. Visit to Hakone National Park. We will take a boat ride on Lake Ashi and ascend by cable car to Mount Komagatake, where you can enjoy, weather permitting, a panoramic view of Mount Fuji. Lunch. We continue by road to Tokyo, where we visit the Tokyo Tower for a wonderful view of this vibrant city.
• Day 9: TOKYO
  Half board. We visit the Buddhist temple of Asakusa Kannon, the Goddess of Mercy, in the heart of the city and stroll through the Nakamise Shopping Arcade, with hundreds of stalls selling traditional products. Visit to the Meiji Shrine and the Ginza district. Lunch. Return to the hotel at the client's expense.
• Day 10: TOKYO
  Breakfast. Free day. Optional excursion to Nikko with lunch to visit Toshogu Shinto Shrine and Lake Chuzenji, ending at Kegon Waterfall.
• Day 11: TOKYO – SPAIN
  Departure by flight back to Spain. Arrival.

• Osaka (1 night): It Osaka Shinmachi
• Kyoto (3 nights): Mikayo Kioto Hachijo – Karasuma Kioto
• Takayama (1 night): Takayama Green Hotel
• Hakone (1 night): Yumoto Fujiya
• Tokyo (3 nights): Tokyo Dome

The trip includes:

• Scheduled flights, economy class.
• Bed and breakfast. 5 lunches and 2 dinners (drinks not included).
• Regular tour (shared with other travellers), with guides and assistance in Spanish.
• Transfers by regular bus / train with assistance in Spanish.
• Visits by bus, minibus or taxi (depending on the number of travellers) with a Spanish-speaking guide.
