Nintendo Switch Neon Blue/Red + Switch Sports Game + Carrying Case pack
Nintendo Switch offers three game modes that allow the user to follow the game anytime, anywhere: TV mode, handheld mode and tabletop mode.
As a home console, it is connected in TV mode via the Nintendo Switch dock. But at any time the user can take the console out of the Nintendo Switch dock and continue playing the game in full autonomy in portable mode.
In handheld mode, the user plays on a 6.2-inch multi-touch display with a resolution of 1280 x 720. Nintendo Switch offers the same multiplayer capabilities as a handheld console.
Tabletop mode allows that portable screen to become a multiplayer device using the Joy-Con controllers.
MAIN FEATURES:
Games
Nintendo Switch games can run at up to 1080p/60 fps in TV mode and 720p/60 fps in handheld mode. Screen resolution and frames per second depend on the game.
Nintendo Switch games will be released on game cards, making them easier to carry and less likely to be damaged, as well as offering shorter loading times than a disc.
Joy-Con controllers
Nintendo Switch is not backwards compatible with games or controllers from previous consoles.
The Joy-Con controllers combine the same buttons and triggers as a traditional controller. What's the difference? You can use them in many ways, together or separately.
How the game is played depends on the game. Some will work with the traditional controls. Others may require simply using a Joy-Con vertically or horizontally. Or you can hold a Joy-Con in each hand.
When the Joy-Con are removed from the Nintendo Switch body they communicate via Bluetooth. The Joy-con include a gyroscope and an accelerometer.
In addition, the right Joy-Con includes an infrared motion camera that can detect the distance, size and movement of nearby objects. For example, it can detect how far away your hand is and whether it is forming "rock, paper, scissors".
The Nintendo Switch controllers feature a new HD vibration system that conveys a much more realistic feeling when vibrating.
Nintendo Switch supports up to eight wireless controllers connected at the same time. The number of controllers that can be connected depends on the game.
Nintendo Switch Dock
The Nintendo Switch dock has been designed to make it very easy and quick to switch from TV mode to handheld mode and continue the game. The transition depends on the game, but in the case of, for example, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, it is almost instantaneous.
The Nintendo Switch dock has no extra processing components. Used to hold the console in TV mode, connect it to an AC socket and charge it. It also allows connection via HDMI and other USB ports for connecting other accessories.
Battery life
The battery life of Nintendo Switch in handheld or tabletop mode varies depending on the software being used: between 4.5 hours and 9 hours on a full charge.
When away from home, Nintendo Switch can be charged using an AC adapter via the console's USB connection.
Charging times also vary, but are around three hours for a full charge. Once charged, each Joy-Con controller has about 23 hours of battery life.
Report
Nintendo Switch has 32 GB of internal NAND memory.
In addition, it supports standard microSDXC memory cards that will, in the future, add up to 2TB of memory to the system.
