Travel itinerary:
- Day 1: SPAIN – KILIMANJARO
Departure by flight to Kilimanjaro, by the chosen route. Overnight on board.
- Day 2: KILIMANJARO – ARUSHA – LAKE EYASI/KARATU
Arrival. Drive to Lake Eyasi. Picnic lunch. Next, we will spend a fascinating afternoon visiting the Hadzabe and Datoga tribes. These indigenous peoples have lived on the shores of Lake Eyasi in the same way for the past 10,000 years. Departure by road to the town of Karatu. Dinner at the lodge.
- Day 3: KARATU – NGORONGORO – SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
Full board. We set off first thing in the morning to enter the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We’ll head down into the crater for a safari. Picnic lunch. The crater is regarded as one of the natural wonders of the world. This crater is also known as the African Garden of Eden because of the abundance and variety of its wildlife. At the appointed time, we’ll leave the crater and head for the Serengeti National Park. Dinner at the lodge.
- Day 4: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
Full board. A full day’s photo safari in one of Africa’s most iconic national parks. Picnic lunch. The Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhinoceros) await us, as well as a wide range of antelopes, including the hundreds of thousands of wildebeest and zebras that pass through on their migration. Dinner at the lodge.
- Day 5: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK – TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
Full board. Departure by road. We will drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area again, where we will stop for a picnic lunch. Continue the journey to Tarangire National Park. It is the sixth-largest park in Tanzania, covering 2,850 square kilometres and is home to the largest population of elephants in northern Tanzania, as well as herds of antelopes, zebras, wildebeest and the famous tree-climbing lions. Dinner at the lodge.
- Day 6: TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK – ARUSHA – KILIMANJARO – SPAIN
Breakfast. Early in the morning, we set off on a safari through the heart of Tarangire National Park. Next, we set off by road to Arusha. Lunch. Transfer to the airport and departure on the return flight to Spain. Overnight on board.
- Day 7: SPAIN
Arrival.
The trip includes:
- Scheduled flights, economy class.
- Bed and breakfast.
- 5 lunches (4 of which are picnic-style) and 4 dinners (drinks not included).
- Transport in 4x4 vehicles during the safari, with guaranteed window access.
- Regular safari.
- Driver/guide speaking Spanish throughout the safari.
- All entries to the parks specified in the itinerary.
- Water in the vehicle during the safari and a metal bottle.
