Tour of Italy

Italy is renowned for its art, culture and numerous monuments, including the Tower of Pisa and the Roman Colosseum, as well as for its gastronomy (famous Italian dishes are pizza and pasta), wine, lifestyle, painting, design, cinema, theatre, literature and music, particularly opera. The charm of the Amalfi coast, the natural beauty of the Alps and the lakes are worth mentioning.

7-day / 6-night trip including: flights, taxes, local guide, 3 and 4-star hotels (board according to the travel itinerary), transfers, visits, entrance fees and Inclusive Insurance.

Travel itinerary:

  • Day 1: MADRID-ROME
Check-in at the airport two hours before departure for your flight to Rome. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.

  • Day 2: ROME
Breakfast. Free day. If you wish, you will have the possibility to take the optional full day excursion "Naples, Pompeii and Capri". We will head to the Campania region, where we will visit Pompeii and the magnificent archaeological remains of this Roman city, stopped in time by the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD. We will continue towards Naples, capital of the region, to take a boat to Capri, a paradisiacal and exclusive island, a place desired by emperors and kings in ancient times, a refuge for the privileged and one of the most charming places in the world with Marina Grande, the cliffs, the grottoes, etc. Weather permitting, we will take a boat trip. Afterwards we will go up to the small town for a visit, strolling through its elegant streets and squares. Finally, we will embark for Naples to continue our journey to Rome. Accommodation. *The "Naples, Pompeii and Capri" excursion will be replaced by the "Pompeii and Naples" excursion from 1 December 2025 to 31 March 2026. Also, during the rest of the season, the visit to Capri may be cancelled due to adverse weather conditions or shipping operations.

  • Day 3: ROME-FLORENCE
Breakfast. Departure to Florence, capital of Tuscany, cradle of the Renaissance and, currently, one of the world's main artistic centres. A panoramic tour will guide us through the most emblematic places of the city. We will pass through places such as: Duomo of Santa Maria del Fiore, with its marvellous dome designed by Brunelleschi and which served as a model for Michelangelo to design the dome of St Peter's Basilica in the Vatican; the bell tower, built by Giotto; the Baptistery with the famous Gates of Paradise by Ghiberti; the Ponte Vecchio; Piazza della Signoria with the Palazzo Vecchio and its collection of statues and fountains of great artistic richness, etc. Free afternoon to continue exploring its streets or to make an optional visit such as "Santa Croce and Medieval Florence". We will visit one of the most emblematic Basilicas of Florence and inside we will find the tombs of the great personalities of the Renaissance: Galileo Galilei, Rossini, Michelangelo and Machiavelli, among others. We will then take a walk across the medieval quarter during which we will pass the Palazzo Barbieri di Vernio, which was the birthplace of the Opera; the Altafronte Castle, which today houses the Galileo Science Museum; and other surprisingly well-preserved ancient buildings such as the Church of San Remigio, the Roman Amphitheatre, the house of the great master Michelangelo, the Bargello Palace and the house of Dante Alighieri, among others. Accommodation.

  • Day 4: FLORENCE - PISA - PADUA - VENETO REGION
Breakfast. Departure to Pisa, the birthplace of Galileo, where we will have free time to admire the wonderful Square of Miracles, an impressive monumental complex that bears witness to its splendid past as a maritime power, where the baptistery, the cathedral and the famous Leaning Tower are located. We recommend taking the optional panoramic city tour with a local guide. In the early afternoon, departure to Padua, where you will have some free time to visit the Basilica of St Anthony, built between the 13th and 14th centuries, a marvellous work of Italian Gothic art in whose interior, in addition to its excellent sculptures, the remains of the Saint are located. Continuation to our hotel in the Veneto region. Accommodation.

  • Day 5: VÉNETO REGION - VENICE - VÉNETO REGION
Breakfast. Departure to Venice. We will enter the city on a panoramic boat trip. During the cruise we will see among other things: The church of Santa Maria della Salute, the island of San Giorgio Maggiore and the Customs House. We will continue our sightseeing tour with a walk through St. Mark's Square and a visit to a Murano glass factory. Free time to continue exploring the city or, if you wish, you can take an optional romantic gondola ride along the Venetian canals or the optional excursion "Hidden Venice and Palaces of the Grand Canal by boat". Free time to continue discovering the city. In the late afternoon, vaporetto to the Tronchetto and return by bus to our hotel in the Veneto region. Accommodation.

  • Day 6: VENETO REGION - VERONA - MILAN
Breakfast. Continuation to Verona, the city immortalised by Shakespeare in "Romeo and Juliet". Free time to stroll through its romantic streets and visit the Arena, Piazza Bra and Juliet's House, with its iconic balcony. We recommend an optional panoramic city tour with a local guide to discover the secrets of this beautiful city. Next, our route will take us to Milan, the centre of business and haute couture. Free time to discover the beauty of the capital of Lombardy, where, in addition to visiting the most important places in the city, you can discover the grandeur of its elegant buildings by walking through the fashionable streets or savour a delicious cappuccino in one of its most traditional cafés dating back to the late 19th and early 20th centuries, such as the Zucca, the Taveggia or the Cova. We recommend you to take the optional panoramic tour, accompanied by a local guide, passing through the Castello Sforzesco, Via Dante and Via Cordusio until you reach the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, the meeting point of Milanese society and finish in Piazza del Duomo, where you will admire the majestic exterior of the cathedral.
